Short Description
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Crew Coordinator to join our client's team in North Brabant. This dynamic role is key to ensuring that their offshore operations are supported by qualified personnel, in full compliance with company policies, client requirements, and relevant legislation. It’s a challenging and rewarding position that involves collaboration across various internal teams and external agencies. Your Role Reports to: Crewing Manager Collaborates with: Fellow Crewing Coordinator and various departments including Rig Managers, Vessel Management Team, QHSE, Crewing Agencies, and offshore personnel As a Crewing Coordinator, you will oversee the day-to-day logistics related to personnel mobilization and demobilization for offshore operations. Your primary focus will be ensuring smooth and efficient crew rotations, pre-selection, and pre-qualification of personnel in collaboration with selected crewing agencies. You will coordinate closely with the Crewing Manager and other team members to ensure operational efficiency and compliance. Key Responsibilities - Coordinate the recruitment and pre-selection of offshore personnel, maintaining cost-effective manning pools while adhering to budget requirements - Ensure that crew qualifications, training, and certifications meet both company standards and project-specific needs - Oversee the efficient rotation of crew members across all barges, ensuring smooth inter-barge transitions - Monitor crewing agencies to ensure compliance with frame agreements and quality standards - Assume the responsibilities of the Crewing Manager during their absence - Be available outside regular office hours to manage emergencies and high-priority situations - Conduct annual site visits to barges when in port to meet with agencies and service providers and evaluate cooperation Your Experience, Skills, and Personal Attributes Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a crewing coordinator in offshore or marine settings Knowledge & Skills: - Strong understanding of international crewing regulations and maritime labor laws - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant Crewing software - Excellent organizational and planning abilities - Fluent in both Dutch and English (written and spoken) Personal Attributes: - Detail-oriented, assertive, and stress-resistant, with a proactive problem-solving mindset - Ability to build relationships and work effectively within a team environment - High integrity, ethical standards, and organizational awareness, with the ability to navigate both crew and management levels effectively Our Offer - A supportive and professional work environment within a dynamic team - A 1-year contract, with the potential for a permanent position - A flexible work schedule (32-40 hours per week) - Competitive salary with additional benefits, including travel allowance, pension scheme, insurance, and vacation pay - A modern office space located in North Brabant - Daily lunch provided with colleagues - Flexible working options, including partial remote work if necessary due to long commute distance - The opportunity to be part of the growing offshore community
